Ruled by the Planet Mercury, Geminis are indeed, mercurial. Like the Roman messenger god, Geminis are quick-thinking, quick-witted and fast on their feet. Geminis are always in constant motion. In social gatherings, Geminis can be seen moving from one group of company to the next. If they are bored, they will start fidgeting and, once again, long for flight.

Air is Geminis ruling element. Air has been associated with thinking, and those under this sign value intellect over all else. The ability to think clearly and logically, the skill at looking at any project from at least two different perspectives make Geminis an asset to any team. Though not inclined to lead, Geminis make good follower.
